History behind Amima
Amima comes from the Arabic word ‘Umm’ meaning Mother
Our heritage comes from centuries ago, back when clans of trading caravans would travel from region to region. 'Amima' was the name given to the leaders of the caravans and they were responsible for hospitality and servicing other merchants. The clans may be gone but they live on through us..

Focused in the UAE and Dubai, our founders have cultivated strong connections with governmental and semi-governmental entities, corporate executives, investment companies, family offices and other high net worth individuals. In this way they partner with entrepreneurs, catalyzing growth and scaling companies. Inspired by our roots, Amima is the natural way forward.

Abdalatti Abuassi (a.k.a. Atti Assi) has mastered the art of the value chain in F&B. Growing and exiting a diversified portfolio in Food and Service ventures through partnerships with profound holding groups and investment firms, he has taken part in The Food Security Mandate as a Strategic Partner through Amima.
Mohammad Ababneh
Co-Founder/COO
Mohammad Taha Ababneh is a corporate management master who is a founder and core team member of a lot of companies in the GCC, Middle East, North Africa and Europe. He has solid diversified experience between privately owned and multinational companies.
